How RR works
Rank Racer points are Marvel Rivals' climbing currency: win to gain, lose to bleed, climb 100 to jump a division. Here's the community-documented shape of the system — and what nobody outside NetEase knows.

Quick answer
Each division holds 100 RR. Wins add RR, losses subtract it, with amounts that vary by rank and (community reports suggest) performance. Mid-rank swings near +25/−25 are typical [VERIFY — the official formula is unpublished]. The practical move: measure your own values over two sessions and put them in the RR estimator.
The division ladder
- Three divisions per tier (I is the top), 100 RR each — a tier climb is a ~300-RR project.
- Loss protection and demotion shields exist at division boundaries; their exact behavior has changed between seasons [VERIFY].
- Top tiers (Eternity, One Above All) drop divisions-based play for leaderboard position.
Measuring your own RR (do this once)
- Play 10 games in one division; record RR before and after each game.
- Average the wins → that's your RR per win; same for losses.
- Compute win rate over the same 10 games from your profile history.
- Enter all three in the RR estimator — now every projection is personal, not folklore.
What we don't claim to know
- Exact performance-modifier formulas, if any — community evidence is mixed and patch-dependent.
- Whether hidden MMR influences RR swings at the margins.
